Porcelain tile - the toughest floor for Florida living

Porcelain is fired at higher temperatures from denser clay than standard ceramic, which leaves it less than 0.5% porous - effectively waterproof - and harder than granite. That combination matters more here than almost anywhere: Brevard Flooring installs porcelain in The Space Coast homes and businesses that deal with salt air, sandy feet, humidity, and the occasional flooded lanai, and it simply doesn't care.

Today's porcelain comes in wood-look planks, marble-look slabs, concrete-look squares, and textured outdoor-rated options, so you get the look of nearly any material without worrying about moisture damage or fading in Florida sun.

Porcelain punishes sloppy prep. Large-format and plank-shaped tiles show even 1/8" of subfloor or slab dip, so we laser-level every floor, use leveling clips on every job, and back-butter each plank for 95%+ mortar coverage.

We also run the right tools for the material - a standard wet saw blade dulls on porcelain within minutes, so our crews use rim-segmented diamond blades and porcelain-rated grinder wheels for clean cuts at every outlet, vent, and corner.
